More Than a Thirst Quencher

Watermelon- Is the fruit that I can’t live without especially in the summer months, I have a craving for it, I can eat it morning lunch, and dinner literally, but there is more to it that just a thirst quencher.
Incorporating watermelon in your diet can be very beneficial for your health with conditions like asthma, diabetes, and arthritis just to name a few; it also contains a great source of antioxidants that helps fight free radicals in the body.

Watermelon is very useful for diminishing blemishes since it’s rich in vitamins A, B, and C, the acids in the fruit acts as an exfoliates it reduces the size of pores on the skin and minimizes excessive secretion of oil resulting hydrated, radiant, and youthful-looking skin.
So have some Watermelon in your life!

Watermelon Exfoliate For All Skin Types 1 cup Watermelon pieces
½ cup yogurt

Puree the watermelon. Add the yogurt and mix well, apply to your face (avoid eye area), it assists in the process of exfoliation. The lactic acid in the yogurt does wonders on your skin.


Watermelon Toner For All Skin Types
1 Cup watermelon pieces,
2 Tbsp witch hazel
2 Tbsp water


Pure the watermelon pieces in a blender. Strain the liquid. Add witch hazel and water in the blended juice. Dab this juice on your face with a cotton ball. This mixture is rich in sugar there for the strong astringent properties and water content results in a fresh and clean face.
